Commanders,
We’re now just five days away from launch! Dicevaders arrives on Steam, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on September 29th, bringing 10 unique Commanders and countless game-breaking combinations with it.
Today, we’re introducing another Commander you haven’t had the chance to play as yet.
Introducing Whisperer
Whisperer is built around spawning and destroying special Apple units to strengthen the rest of your build.
This commander’s starter perk is Frugivore - which spawns an Apple on a random empty tile when your turn begins, given there are none already on the board. When an Apple is scored as part of a pair, it is destroyed and grants you +3 Mini-Dice. Destroying an Apple also gives +10 XP to all artifacts on the board.
Here is a breakdown of the perks and artifacts available with Whisperer:
Big Apple (Common artifact): When your turn begins, give +100 STR to Apple units.
Parasite (Uncommon artifact): When you destroy any UNIT in this column, you get +1 Mini-Dice and +2 Mult.
Wormfection (Perk): When you destroy an Apple, spawn two Worms on random tiles.
Whalefall (Legendary artifact): Each time a unit is destroyed, give 20% of its STR to a random unit.
Rat Poison (Rare artifact): When you score a pair in this column, score a random Token unit with +2 Repeat.
Bogland (Perk): Your non-Token units gain an “On Death” effect that grants +1 Budge and +1 $.
Whisperer will be available when Dicevaders launches on September 29th.
