Hey everyone! 👋
Update 0.11 is here, and it's all about 🎯 perk depth and 🎲 Casino power! Some perks can now be upgraded through the run, and the dice blocks have received a major buff to stay relevant into the late game.
⬆️ Perks With Levels!
Some perks can now be upgraded up to 5 levels during a run! Pick the same perk again to level it up and make it stronger:
(Here's a GIF of a really cool combo I've made)
- 🏃 Speedrunner: Place a piece within 2 seconds (3 at max level) to gain bonus Stack – scales from +3 at level 1 all the way up to +100 at level 5!
- 🧘 Acceptance: Place a piece without rotating to gain Flow – from +5 at level 1 up to +30 at level 5.
- 💨 Last Breath: After placing your last piece, gain a percentage of your Target Score as Stack – starts at 10%, goes up to 40% at level 5.
- ⚡ Chain Reaction: When another perk activates, gain bonus Flow – from +1 at level 1 up to +20 at level 5.
Maxed-out perks (level 5) get a special golden highlight ✨ – choose between spreading across many perks or doubling down on a few and taking them to the max!
🔢 6 Perk Limit
Runs now have a limit of 6 different perks. Once you've filled all 6 slots, the perk screen will only offer upgrades for perks you already have (until they hit level 5). This keeps builds focused and makes every perk choice count! 🎲
🎲 Dice Blocks – Huge Buff!
Red Dice, Blue Dice, and Mixed Dice have been rebalanced to scale with your progress:
- Their effects are now multiplied by your current level (round) – early game they stay modest, but in late game they become a massive source of Stack and Flow!
- Casino builds that lean on dice are now much more viable and stay powerful throughout the entire run. 🚀
🙏 Thank You!
We hope the new perk levels and 6-perk cap make your runs feel more strategic, and that the dice changes make Casino builds way more rewarding! As always, let us know what you think. Happy stacking! 🧱✨
