Dear Conductors,
This time, our mining journey takes us from the ground into space!
The new Basic Mining Rocket, Basic Repair Rocket, and Star Chart Table are here. Send rockets to mining sites orbiting the planet, arrange repairs, and use Return Capsules and Cargo Receiving Beacons to bring minerals back to your train's roof. As your operation grows, launch Expansion Rockets to gradually increase space storage capacity.
Your onboard equipment has new helpers: the Tool Charging Rack and Iron Charging Backpack offer new ways to power tools. The electric drill and chainsaw also receive new looks, two-handed grips, and working animations.
We have added Half-Height Sloped Roofs, Triangular Gable Walls, and optional Official Add-ons; upgraded train plows; improved recipe browsing, irrigation consumption, and performance in some regions; and fixed equipment stacking and resource transfers.
Gather your materialsβlet's take mining into space!
π New Basic Mining Rocket: take your mine into space!
Introducing the Basic Mining Rocket, equipped with a heavy drill!
After launch, use the Star Chart Table to send it to different mining sites and keep minerals flowing to your train.
Send several rockets to mine together for faster output, or split your fleet between sites to collect the resources you need.
β οΈ Watch rocket durability
Ongoing work wears down mining rockets. A rocket is destroyed when its durability runs out.
As you expand the fleet, check each rocket's condition and arrange repair support.
π οΈ New Basic Repair Rocket: support your mining fleet
Drills in space need maintenance, and a new repair partner is ready.
The Basic Repair Rocket has a repair arm and spends its own reserves to restore damaged mining rockets' durability.
Assign different tasks through the Star Chart Table:
Global automatic repair: provide automatic support across the mining fleet.
Station at a chosen site: focus repairs on mining rockets at that site.
Stand by: adjust repair arrangements as needed.
Repair reserves are limited. Keep an eye on fleet condition and supplies so your distant mining operation can continue.
π New Star Chart Table: your onboard space command center
The new **Star Chart Table** is the hub for managing space mining.
Open it to view mining sites orbiting the planet, assign mining missions, and arrange repair rocket support.
Concentrate your fleet when you urgently need a particular mineral.
Split up when you need different resources.
Adjust repair assignments when rockets are damaged.
Twinkling stars and rocket trails make each deployment easier to follow.
π¦ Space Storage
Mined products wait in Space Storage, which starts with 6 slots, until you arrange transport back to the train.
Check stocks regularly to leave room for continued mining.
π°οΈ New Expansion Rocket: send more storage into space
As the mining fleet grows, your space storage can grow too!
Each Expansion Rocket launched permanently adds 1 slot, expanding storage from 6 slots up to 48 slots.
Unlock Space Storage Expansion in tier-five technology to prepare more room for ongoing mining.
π‘ New Cargo Receiving Beacon: welcome space cargo on the roof
Set aside a place on your train to receive minerals!
The Cargo Receiving Beacon consists of a landing platform and control station and is placed on the train roof to receive mineral capsules.
Choose a beacon on the Star Chart Table and dispatch cargo, then wait for minerals from space to land on the roof.
Collect delivered cargo promptly to make room for the next shipment.
βοΈ New transport vehicle: Return Capsule
Look upβyour minerals are coming home!
Dispatch cargo from Space Storage through the Star Chart Table, and a Return Capsule appears high above carrying your minerals, fires its thrusters to slow down, and descends to the selected beacon.
From dispatching rockets and mining deposits to receiving goods on the roof, you can now watch the last leg of your space shipment.
π New Tool Charging Rack: charge two items together
Power tools have a new place for charging and storage!
Place a Tool Charging Rack aboard and connect it to the train's power grid to recharge items hanging on it.
πͺ Two independent hanging slots
The rack has 2 independent hanging slots, each holding one item, and both can charge simultaneously.
With sufficient power, each item takes about 60 seconds to charge from empty to full. Insufficient supply affects charging speed.
π¦ Red and green charging indicators
Red: charging.
Green: fully charged.
Items that do not need charging immediately show green when placed on the rack.
πͺ Display ordinary tools and weapons too
Alongside drills and chainsaws, the rack holds ordinary tools and weapons such as stone pickaxes, displaying each item's appearance.
The Iron Charging Backpack can also be recharged on the rack.
β Hang up and take down anytime
While holding a drill or chainsaw, you can quickly hang it on the rack. Holding another item still lets you open the rack to store or retrieve items normally.
Take items away at any time while charging; the charge already gained is retained.
π New Iron Charging Backpack: portable power for tools
The new **Iron Charging Backpack** automatically recharges the rechargeable tool you are currently holding while exploring or working.
Equipped on your back, it spends its stored energy to charge the tool in your hands. It stops supplying power when empty.
β‘ Independent energy storage
A full backpack stores enough power to fully recharge an empty electric drill 5 times.
Check its charge bar and plan refills ahead of time.
π¦ Storage on the go
The Iron Charging Backpack provides 3 rows of storage for work materials and travel supplies.
π Recharge back at the train
Remove the backpack and place it on the Tool Charging Rack to recharge from the train's grid before your next expedition.
π New building: Half-Height Sloped Roof
Find the new Half-Height Sloped Roof under **Extended Buildings** in the Building Hammer to build sloped roofs half a story high.
Available in wood, stone, and iron.
Can be upgraded step by step.
Can be rotated to change roof direction.
Can be painted to match your train's buildings.
More options for mezzanines, low spaces, and layouts at different heights.
πΊ New building: Triangular Gable Wall
The triangular gaps beside sloped roofs now have a matching building piece.
Find the new Triangular Gable Wall under **Extended Buildings** in the Building Hammer too.
Available in wood, stone, and iron, with gradual upgrades and rotation to fit either side of a roof.
Gable walls can also be painted to match roofs and walls.
𧩠Official Add-ons added to settings

When enabled, merge and arrange inventory items with one click.
During sorting, hotbar and equipment positions stay unchanged, preserving your usual setup.
π Train plow upgrade: wider protection and an iron collection net
Train plows receive improvements to coverage, appearance, and resource collection.
π‘οΈ Protection widened to 5 tiles
Wooden, stone, and iron plows now span 5 tiles horizontally, protecting more of the train's front.
π¨ Updated material appearances
Wooden plows retain their wood color, while stone and iron plows get new designs that distinguish each upgrade stage.
πΈοΈ Collection net added to the iron plow
When the iron plow breaks rocks, ore deposits, and similar targets, the corresponding resources are stored in its net automatically.
Aim at the net and press E to open it and store or take items.
βοΈ Collect each target's corresponding resources
The plow's resource collection multiplier is 0.5Γ:
Rocks yield stone.
Mineral deposits such as iron yield the corresponding ore.
Stumps yield wood.
𧡠Rope net visuals improved
Fixed black-and-white speckles and abnormal reflections for more natural colors and clearer texture.
π¨ Upgrade material adjustments
Wooden plow β Stone plow: requires 50 stone.
Stone plow β Iron plow: requires 20 iron ingots.
π© Electric drill appearance and two-handed grip updated
The drill has a new look and working animations!
First- and third-person visuals are updated, so both you and other players see the new model.
π Two-handed grip
New animations place each hand on a handle, with subtle movement during use.
βοΈ Working drill bit animation
The bit rotates while working and stops when use ends, making its state clearer.
π Natural transitions to other actions
The grip adjusts when picking up items, waving, and dancing to better match the character's actions.
π Two ways to recharge
While holding the drill, hang it directly on the Tool Charging Rack and retrieve it anytime to continue using it.
With the Iron Charging Backpack equipped, it spends its own energy to recharge the drill you are holding automatically.
πͺ Chainsaw appearance, grip, and working animations renewed
First- and third-person visuals are updated with clearer body, handles, and chain structure.
β Dedicated two-handed grip
One hand holds the rear handle and the other the front grip for a more natural working pose.

Hands and chainsaw grip adjust together when picking up items, waving, or dancing.
β‘ Charging and portable power
Quickly hang the chainsaw on the Tool Charging Rack while holding it.
Take it away anytime during charging and keep using it.
Equip the Iron Charging Backpack to automatically recharge the chainsaw you are holding.
π Food and drink recipes use four columns
Recipe lists now use a compact four-column layout, making better use of the left side and showing more recipes at once.
Click a recipe card to view its details.
π© Light green when ingredients are sufficient
If you carry enough ingredients for one serving, the card has a light green background, helping you spot food or drinks you can make now.
β¬ Off-white when ingredients are insufficient
Missing ingredients or insufficient quantities give the card an off-white background.
The indication updates automatically as carried ingredients change.
This applies to both food and drink recipes; favorites, filtering, sorting, and crafting controls are unchanged.
π¦ Container hints refreshed
Looking at a container now shows the icon and name of its most numerous item type.
Only one item type is shown at a time.
Exact quantities are not shown.
The hint disappears when you look away.
Find supplies more quickly among multiple containers.
π Fish tank information panel length improved
The panel background length now matches the tank's capacity.
Small tanks no longer have excessive blank space, keeping information compact and natural to read.
π Mushroom growing rack water use reduced by 70%
Mushroom growing racks use 70% less water.
With normal automatic irrigation, both upper and lower levels gradually accumulate moisture, reducing growth interruptions from drought and easing daily cultivation.
π Lower crafting cost for the Makeshift Exploration Rocket
Coal required to craft it has decreased from 50 to 20.
This reduces the material burden of preparing rockets and further exploration.
π¬ Far fewer materials needed for tier-five technology
Material costs for unlocking tier-five blueprints have been greatly reduced and requirements organized for clearer, simpler progression.
Conductors preparing for the next stage can now unlock technology with fewer materials.
π± Cave seed crate respawning fixed
Fixed 4 seed crates in the cave beneath the central volcano failing to respawn after looting.
After collecting, they can now be looted again every 15 real-world minutes, matching surface tent crates.
Seed crates missing from older saves will also return, allowing further exploration and collection.
π³ Mountain forest and rainforest performance improved
Optimized scenery display and simplified some mountain details to reduce processing load in these regions.
Existing scenery layouts and tree gathering content remain, preserving exploration and collection along the route.
π©Έ On-screen blood effects improved
Damage blood effects keep their rounded cartoon style with smoother edges.
Across resolutions and widescreen ratios, they fit the screen's corners more naturally, retain proper proportions, and leave the center clear.
πΊ Wolf chase speed slightly adjusted
Slightly reduced wolf pursuit speed to ease excessively fast chases in some situations and improve the pacing.
π Empty chicken coop progress display fixed
Fixed leftover progress appearing after a coop was emptied.
Empty coops now correctly show 0%.
π§° Recovered equipment stacking fixed
Fixed electric grills, furnaces, cooking stations, and other devices failing to stack after being dismantled into the inventory.
Previously recovered devices can also be merged normally, making inventory and storage organization easier.
π§ Ice melts when freshness runs out
Fixed ice turning into rotten food after being stored too long.
When its freshness is depleted, ice now melts away without producing rotten food.
π₯ Deposit Similar quantity issue fixed
Fixed rapidly clicking **Deposit Similar** repeatedly sometimes causing resource quantities to increase incorrectly.
Bulk deposits now calculate quantities more accurately.
π‘οΈ Coming changes: cold and heat mechanics
The following are planned changes, not implemented in this update.
We plan to refine responses to cold and heat, clarifying how clothing, heat sources, and environmental conditions interact.
βοΈ Planned: warming up near fire
In cold regions, being within roughly 3 meters of a burning device will provide warmth:
Remove cold screen effects.
Hide the cold status warning.
Stop cold from increasing hunger consumption.
Leaving the warming range or extinguishing the device's flame will restore cold effects.
π§₯ Planned: cold severity depends on clothing
Without warmth from a fire, cold severity will depend on worn clothing:
No headgear, top, trousers, or shoes: level 3 cold.
Wearing any one of these: reduced to level 2 cold.
The corresponding increase in hunger consumption will be:
Level 2 cold: +25%.
Level 3 cold: +50%.
βοΈ Planned: remove clothing to beat the heat
In hot regions, removing headgear, top, trousers, and shoes will remove heat screen effects and warnings, and stop additional water consumption caused by heat.
Wearing any of these again will restore heat effects.
Backpacks and face equipment do not count for heat avoidance and may stay equipped.
π§ Planned: heat severity depends on clothing combinations
Heat severity will vary with clothing combinations:
Wearing both a top and trousers: level 3 heat.
Other combinations with some clothing worn: level 2 heat.
Removing all headgear, tops, trousers, and shoes: no heat effects.
The corresponding increase in water consumption will be:
Level 2 heat: +25%.
Level 3 heat: +50%.
Normal hunger and water consumption will remain. Cold and heat effects and intensity changes will transition smoothly to reduce abrupt shifts.
