Dear Conductors,
New harvests are coming to your onboard garden! You can now grow corn, potatoes, and wheat. New seed crates have also been added to the map, giving you more chances to collect seeds on your travels.
The redesigned Advanced Drink Maker has three independent crafting stations to prepare three drinks at once. Kitchen appliances now offer Collect All for finished products, and regular shops support bulk purchases, making meals, shopping, and everyday organization easier.
This update also adjusts cave exploration, diagonal half-wall building, Machete handling, and electrical equipment, with focused performance improvements for multiple carriages, extensive buildings, animal farming, and automation running together.
We have also improved save loading and recovery, and fixed issues with dropping items, stacking empty chests, building with a controller, and various visuals.
Here are the full update notes.

Different power conditions now have clearer messages:
**Insufficient power:** indicates slower smelting.
**Stopped without power:** displays “Paused”.
**Power restored:** processing resumes and the remaining time is recalculated.
Progress is retained while paused, making it easier to see whether the device needs more power.
🍽️ Cooking button and recipe controls fixed
Fixed the cooking button repeatedly flashing after adding ingredients.
Also fixed needing to click twice to start cooking with recipe details open, making it easier to cook once ingredients are ready.
🎨 Floor painting improved
Paint colors are now clearer on floors, with less interference from the original base color while preserving surface texture.
Use Original Color Paint to return a floor to its unpainted appearance.

Dirt pits
Bears
Wild boars
Wild resources
Also fixed old wheel options remaining usable after a target changed state, keeping actions consistent with the current target.
🖱️ Drag indicators restored for custom stack splitting
Fixed missing drag indicators in the custom stack panel.
Restored the six-dot indicator and green border in the upper-left corner of the item card to clarify the draggable area.
After choosing a quantity, it is easier to find the item card and drag it to its destination.
📦 Empty storage chest stacking fixed
Fixed chests failing to stack with other empty chests after being used, emptied, and dismantled.
This fix applies to:
Small Storage Chests
Medium Storage Chests
Large Storage Chests
Existing empty chests can be merged by dragging or sorting, without placing and dismantling them all again.
📍 Chest contents indicator position fixed
Fixed chest contents indicators drifting away from their chests when turning the camera, sprinting, or adjusting the field of view.
Indicators now stay aligned more consistently, making stored contents easier to check.
🎒 Dropping items by dragging them out of the inventory after respawning fixed
Fixed being unable to drop items by dragging them out of the inventory after being defeated and respawning.
You can now organize and discard items normally after respawning, reducing inventory issues.

🔄 Automatic retries for temporary loading failures
Improved automatic retries after certain temporary read failures, allowing brief problems to recover during loading.
🪨 Terrain initialization issues fixed
Fixed some terrain initialization errors that could cause lengthy loading stalls and prevent entry into the game.
🛟 New loading fallback: enter saves with simplified terrain
If some map content fails to load, you can now enter the save with simplified terrain and receive relevant repair suggestions.
This reduces cases where an issue with individual resources makes an entire save unplayable.
Simplified terrain is a recovery option for loading problems, letting you enter the game first and then follow the guidance to resolve the issue.
🧰 Better recovery from scene file issues
Improved recovery for certain scene file errors.
When these issues occur, you can keep playing with a simplified scene. The game also attempts to schedule file verification for the next launch, reducing manual troubleshooting.
🚀 Large-scale performance improvements
This update focuses on multiple carriages, extensive buildings, animal farming, automated production, and dense resource gathering.
We have reduced repeated processing when nothing has changed, as well as overhead from many devices, animals, or items being present together. Details follow below.

Improved the efficiency of animal state updates.
As furniture, equipment, and animal counts grow, fewer redundant operations reduce the everyday overhead of large farming trains.
🤝 Multiplayer animal synchronization improved
Improved state synchronization for chicken coops, animal pens, and fish tanks.
When a new player joins, loading initial animal states has less extra impact on players already online, improving shared farming carriage management.
🌱 Automatic feeding, seeding, and fertilizing improved
Improved processing efficiency when multiple automatic devices work in the same carriage.
Devices continue to follow the existing rules:
Operating range is unchanged.
Power requirements are unchanged.
Resource allocation rules are unchanged.
Limited resources are still allocated in the same order.
Reduced repeated processing during simultaneous work while preserving your automation arrangements.
🥚 Automatic egg collection improved
Reduced processing overhead when collecting several eggs in succession, improving collection from multiple productive coops.
Eggs and randomly generated dung are still processed together.
When space is insufficient, the existing rules for collection failure and retaining items still apply.
🌾 Automatic crop and mushroom harvesting improved
Improved efficiency when harvesting multiple planting slots in succession, reducing overhead during large harvests.
Yield rules for crops, seeds, earthworms, and mushrooms are unchanged.
Failed collection will not consume additional products as a result of this optimization.
🐔 Chicken coop saving and egg display improved
Reduced repeated saving when a coop's state has not changed and optimized egg display processing.
This reduces overhead when many coops are present, helping farming carriages run more efficiently.
🗂️ Scheduled rotating backups improved
Improved rotating backup processing to reduce the impact of backup creation and file writing on gameplay.
The existing backup interval is retained.
The limit of ten rotating backups is retained.
Existing backups are kept if writing a new backup fails.
Reduced backup overhead while continuing to protect your progress.
🛠️ Durability indicators for large amounts of furniture improved
Optimized hidden furniture durability indicators, reducing continuous processing when many furnishings are present.
Aiming at an item still promptly displays its durability for inspection and repair.
🍎 Food displays in storage containers improved
Optimized food decorations inside containers, reducing repeated work when many containers are present.
Food appearance, container placement, and collision remain unchanged, preserving existing storage displays.
🪢 Zipline performance improved
Reduced repeated processing during zipline operation and optimized trolley visuals.
Grabbing, riding, movement, sounds, and first-person hand visuals follow the same rules, preserving the controls while reducing overhead.
🪓 Dense resource gathering improved
Improved processing after gathering wood, food, trees, minerals, and stone.
Reduced overhead when collecting large quantities of resources in succession.
Resource drop and respawn rules are unchanged.
🔗 Carriage connecting platforms improved
Reduced repeated processing when connecting platform states have not changed.
Platforms still update normally as the train moves and turns, retaining their existing passage and support behavior.

The following rules are unchanged:
Oxygen supply range
How multiple sources stack
Oxygen Box consumption
💪 Skills page performance improved
Reduced repeated processing while the skills page stays open.
Skill progress and descriptions still update normally, and switching languages continues to display the appropriate text.
🌗 Day and night lighting updates improved
Reduced repeated processing when light brightness has not changed.
The existing day and night brightness and transitions are preserved, keeping the same lighting rhythm.
🏗️ Performance improved for extensive buildings
Improved efficiency when many structures are present, reducing overhead while the train moves and during everyday operation.
The following building features and rules are unchanged:
Appearance
Painting
Collision
Interaction
Reduced some overhead for players who keep expanding their trains while preserving the results of their builds.
