Devil's Due — Patch v0.9.8.08
New Mechanic Foundations: EVENTS
A brand-new event system has been introduced to Devil's Due. This framework lays the groundwork for a wide variety of future events, bringing more variety, excitement, and unpredictability to the game. Many more events will be added soon.
Win Event: Golden Rain
To inaugurate the new system, the first win-triggered event makes its debut. Whenever you win at a machine, a mischievous flying devil appears and showers coins for a limited time. Grab the basket and catch as many as you can—every coin adds directly to your balance.
New Win Event — Golden Rain — After a machine win, a small flying devil appears and drops coins for several seconds. Catch them with the basket to increase your funds.
More to come! :)
Tribute Screen Fix
Pay Tribute window now closes instantly upon confirmation — Previously, the window would linger briefly while already displaying the next (increased) tribute value, making it possible to accidentally click "Pay" a second time and hand the Devil the next round's debt as well. The window now vanishes the moment you confirm payment, ensuring the next tribute amount is only visible after returning to the game.
