Hey everyone!
First, thank you for being here. Whether you played the playtest, just found us, or have been following along for a while. We appreciate you. 💙
We've been working hard on WheelMates, and today we wanted to share a little sneak peek of what's coming in the very first demo. Yes! The WheelMates demo is coming!
New location – garage
You told us the playtest spot felt a bit short. So… what if we just add another one?
The garage is big, weird, and full of new things to discover with your wheelmate.
More comfortable driving & exploring
We wrote about gameplay changes earlier. There is less frustration and more fun! Smooth driving and better flow to enjoy exploring together.
Local co-op!
Yes, you heard that right. Couch mode is real. Grab a friend, grab a controller, and play together on the same screen. No second PC needed.
Localization
We want as many of you as possible to understand what's happening in the game. No one left behind. More languages are on the way.
That's it. Just a little “what to expect.”
The demo is almost here, and we can't wait for you and your wheelmate to jump in.
Meanwhile, here's how you can support us:
Wishlist WheelMates on Steam.
Join our Discord to be the first to know when the demo goes live, share your feedback, and hang out with other wheelmates.
Share with a friend. If you know someone who loves co-op games, send this their way.
Thanks again for being here, friends. See you and your wheelmate in the demo!
Regards,
The Firevolt Team
