vrOS v0.16.10 Patch Notes
New Features
- VR device-lost recovery. When GPU device loss or a UI render-thread watchdog stall makes the VR overlay child unsafe to keep alive, the desktop app now gracefully restarts the VR overlay process instead of crashing or freezing the whole app. Default-on, with a first-time recovery prompt explaining what happened and offering a switch to manual-restart mode. Capture overlays are snapshotted before reset and automatically restored after the child respawns.
Bug Fixes
- Twitch Ads sliders now use the standard overlay slider component for visual consistency with the rest of the Live Twitch tab.
- Virtual keyboard reliably shows and accepts hover/click input across every show/hide path. With auto-show off, manual toggle now produces a fully interactive keyboard, capture-overlay textbox focus correctly summons the keyboard, and drag-to-position placement persists across sessions.
- Twitch shared chat: badge cluster no longer duplicates when viewing your own channel in shared-chat mode.
Other Changes
- Rust toolchain bumped from 1.89.0 to 1.93.1, with the matching clippy lint cleanup. Affects only people building from source.
- Integration test suite (vros-integration-tests) aligned with current APIs after upstream signature changes and a removed module reference.
