What's up, drivers!
We’ve prepared more answers to your frequently asked questions about CarX Rally on Steam.
Enjoy!
Will the game support VR?
VR support is not planned for the launch of Early Access. At the same time, we understand that VR is an important part of the experience for many rally sim fans.
We will closely monitor community interest, and if it is high enough, we will consider adding VR support to the project’s development roadmap.
What will happen to the mobile version of the project?
The mobile version will remain in maintenance mode, and the pace of development will not change. We will continue releasing the updates required to comply with app store requirements, as well as fixing the most serious bugs and crashes.
Will there be a co-driver model?
Yes. The game already features models for both the driver and co-driver. As the project develops, we will continue improving their appearance and overall quality.
How will pace notes work?
For locations created by our team, we have prepared our own pace notes. Players will also be able to edit them to suit their preferences, as we understand that every driver has their own approach to calls and notation.
When creating a custom location, players will also be able to prepare their own pace notes using the editor tools and share them with other users.
How will the location editor work? Will we have to create our own maps, or will we be able to simply use content created by other players?
The editor will allow players to build roads, configure surface types, adjust shoulder widths, and place various objects. On custom locations, players will also be able to define special stages and create their own pace notes for them.
Creating your own locations will not be mandatory. By the launch of Early Access, we plan to add the ability to share them, so players will be able to use content created by other members of the community.
When will we see gameplay?
There is no exact date for the gameplay reveal yet. We will share gameplay once the game’s visuals reach a level of quality that we are ready to present to the community.
Will the system requirements published on the Steam page change?
The system requirements currently published on Steam are preliminary. Since the game is still in development, some specifications may change, although we do not expect any major adjustments.
