Hello, Steam!
Today, we're excited to give you a first look at a new desktop application we've started developing: "My AI Pal"!
◆ What is "My AI Pal," your personal AI partner?
"My AI Pal" is a desktop mascot-style chat application featuring a local LLM that lives right on your desktop.
Simply drag and drop files—study notes, work documents, guides for your favorite hobbies, and more—and your companion, "Pal," will instantly learn their contents. Pal will grow into a knowledgeable partner who is an expert in the topics you provide.
◆ The Core Appeal of "My AI Pal"
With this app, we aim to deliver two special experiences.
First, the fun of conversing with an AI you've raised yourself. You can ask questions and consult with Pal about the knowledge you've taught it. Experience a new form of communication, just like having your very own smart companion. You can even set your favorite character image to make your Pal truly your own!
Second, the absolute peace of mind that your privacy is secure. "My AI Pal's" AI processes everything locally on your PC. Your documents and conversations are never sent to an external server. Your sensitive information never leaves your computer, so you can use it with complete confidence.
Development has just begun, and we'll be sharing more updates as we go.
Stay tuned for future information, and please add "My AI Pal" to your Wishlist!
