Hey everyone!
We are Magical Something, a two-person indie dev team based in the UK, and we are incredibly excited (and a little nervous!!) to finally share what we've been working on. This is the first full game we’ve ever made, so just having you here checking out our page means a lot to us.
So, what is IKARUS all about? We wanted to try something a little crazy. We took the fast-paced, screen-fill chaos of classic shoot'em-ups / bullet-hells and mashed it up with the strategy of a modern roguelike deckbuilder. Figuring out how to balance twitchy arcade action with thoughtful card synergy was definitely a massive challenge, but we honestly think we’ve made it work - and we can't wait to hear what you think.
We need your help! Because this is our debut game, we are learning a lot as we go. We would absolutely love to hear your thoughts, ideas, and critiques. You can do that here on Steam, or join our discord: https://discord.gg/uuqjWn2es
We are going to be reading everything and taking all your feedback on board as we keep working ahead of release. Thanks so much for dropping by. If you like what you see, a wishlist would absolutely make our day. Cheers!
