LEAN INTO THE (bleeding) PUNCHES

Punching & Melee Rework

Added punching!

Punching is combo-able (right & left punches in quick succession), can punch with no items equipped

Additionally re-worked melee to not be so complicated, just back to the simple LMB to swing.

Can also punch air for those special moments of boredom

Leaning

Added left/right leaning

Further tweaking 3P leaning, need to figure out how I want to implement it. Currently only purposeful in 1P.

Swimming With The Fishes

Basic swimming implemented (Need to add swimming animation & other adjustments), this will follow into a system for fishing, which is there I just need to add a fishing rod..

You can also drown, maybe bring your scuba gear?

Settings

Further reworked the UI & system for graphical options & other options. Further tweaking the UI of this but overall should feel & work much better.

Map Progress

Furthering focus on map progress, new POIs & Improving the overall feel of the environment/terrain. Currently mapping out the POIs/Biome structure, practicing such implementations & reviewing proper optimal implementations of the assets, I'd like to have POIs visible from all across the map/on a mountain can view the whole map.

Further adding some secret locations, which will progress into hidden areas/areas that require special equipment to get into or even traverse. Further designing these, but they will be cool & vast.

Cheater Cheater Safezone Sleeper

Did a large rework of multiplayer replication systems & player checks, further preventing cheating & making it harder for injected clients to cheat in Multiplayer. Server will conduct checks & not trust client. This may break a few things, but should prevent script kitty behavior.

My Leg Hurts?

Status effects added (Mainly Bleeding, Broken Leg, Fire, and Toxicity)

Bleeding now occurs, and you can bandage the bleed to make it stop. You should leave a trail of blood too. Further tweaking this.

Fall damage is a thing now too, but it's super annoying atm. Will be adjusting this, I feel like I take damage after falling a short height.

General Fixes/Adjusments/Additions

• Fixed BFG spawning with BFG in mag..

• Fixed Plinker 1 shotting

• Fixed critical performance bug

• Fixed item data on certain items

• Prolly some other stuff

Next Weeks Targets:

Ghillie-ish?

Further working on a ghillie suit implementation, wanting it to be cosmetically appealing & functional, so it's a bit tricky. Once I have a nice formula I'll shape it up & progress onto NVGs.

More map progress

Fishing

I just wanna relax & fish

Maybe this'll develop into hunting?
