Hello, Commanders!
This Demo update focuses on improving the experience throughout an entire run. Our goal is to make everything feel smoother, from starting the game to completing a run.
What’s New
Improved the overall experience throughout the Demo.
Added mouse-wheel zoom for easier viewing and navigation.
Added Korean localization.
Our Direction for Future Gameplay Changes
We have also been reviewing the core gameplay based on feedback from the Demo. Some systems are currently harder to understand than intended, and the connections between turret progression, route choices, and build creation are not always clear.
Here are the main areas we plan to improve:
Clearer turret progression We plan to streamline turret upgrades, mods, and deployment so that each turret’s strengths and upgrade potential are easier to understand. Progression will also rely less heavily on repeatedly merging identical turrets.
More meaningful route choices Different types of map nodes will offer clearer resources and rewards. Route selection should support the needs of your current build instead of simply being a comparison of which path offers more rewards.
Smoother progression throughout each run We want to address the slow early game and the lack of meaningful choices later in a run, giving each stage clearer goals and more opportunities to grow stronger.
More ways to create a build Turrets and firing points will have clearer roles. Builds will be able to take shape through different combinations of turrets, mods, and firing points, with less dependence on fixed combinations or specific prerequisites.
Easier to learn, with room for deeper strategy New players should be able to complete a run with a straightforward mix of single-target and area damage without needing to understand every interaction. Players who enjoy experimentation will still have plenty of combinations to explore across turrets, mods, and firing points.
These are our current development goals, not final designs. The related systems are still being designed and tested, and these changes are not all included in the current Demo update.
As we continue development, we aim to improve the game’s pacing, feedback, and clarity while preserving the identity of its track-based turret gameplay.
