Changes in version 1.10:
- The game has been upgraded to Unity 6 - the first major technical update of the PC version.
- Balance: fixed a long-standing bug where five level 2 buildings gave the same bonus as level 1. Loading dock +150,000 port capacity (was 14,000), Port warehouses +240,000 (was 90,000), Gardens +100,000 field capacity (was 30,000), Moat +0.4 defense (was 0.2), Towers +0.6 (was 0.3). Corinth's port 403k → 689k, fields 317k → 387k. Important: this applies to buildings constructed after the update - buildings already built in old saves keep their previous bonus.
- Fixed tooltips getting stuck when closing the Polis window; the difficulty icon shows its description again.
- Fixed a rare crash on scene load.
- New main menu animation; the menu now shows a banner for Pre-Warp Age, our new game.
- Updated links (Twitter → X, support).
- Saves are compatible.
- System requirements have gone up: Windows 7/8 are no longer supported - you now need Windows 10+, macOS 12+, or Ubuntu 22.04+.
Update 1.10a (Hotfix):
- Fixed raids on cities in a coalition: the attack now hits the city you actually selected. Previously the target was silently swapped for the strongest coalition member - the relations penalty and the battle results went to the wrong city. The whole coalition still defends as before.
- Closed an infinite-traders exploit: closing and reopening a trade route refunded the "Improve trade" trader on every closure. The refund is now granted only once per city.
- Balance: Corinth has been weakened - as you pointed out, the buildings fix made what was already the easiest city even stronger. The buildings stay untouched; instead:
- Harbor gold income: 0.5 per worker (was 0.7).
- Corinth canal: +30% and +50% colony bonus (was +50% and +100%).
- Corinth's military buildings: 0.8 of the nominal value (was 1.2 - the army limit was twice that of Athens).
- Bonuses already applied in old saves are kept - ongoing campaigns are not affected; the new values fully apply to new games.
Previous versions of the game are available in the Beta branch (game properties in Steam - "Betas").
