Hello!
The game engine has been upgraded from 5.5 to 5.7, the latest version of Unreal. With it come some pretty significant performance improvements, and the newest version of DLSS. I'm seeing at least double the framerate on this build.
I've optimized the way the millipede segments and legs are handled to hopefully reign in how badly it hits the CPU beyond 500 - 600 legs.
Significant adjustments were made to the forest lighting and atmospheric effects.
More tuning of the millipede movement and starting speed. The millipede starts faster and gets faster as a result.
Until the next update!
