King Charles: Rise of the Alpha just received one of its biggest updates yet.

This update brings a completely redesigned UI, major gameplay and damage balancing, a new Gold Bones progression system, a brand-new Costume screen, and new outfits — including additional costumes available through DLC.

GOLD BONES & NEW UPGRADE SYSTEM

Your runs now contribute to something bigger.

Earn Gold Bones while playing and use them to unlock permanent upgrades that strengthen King Charles for future runs.

Build your progression around the stats that matter to your playstyle and keep growing stronger between battles.

The new progression system adds another layer of strategy beyond the upgrades you choose during each run.

COMBAT & DAMAGE REBALANCE

We've made significant adjustments to combat balance across the game.

Damage values and progression have been reworked to create a smoother power curve and make your upgrade choices feel more meaningful throughout a run.

Weapons, enemies, and overall combat pacing have been adjusted with the goal of making both early-game progression and later waves feel better.

COMPLETELY UPDATED UI

King Charles has a new look.

We've redesigned major parts of the game's interface to make important information easier to read while keeping the screen cleaner during chaotic fights.

Health, XP, levels, upgrades, weapons, enemy information and other gameplay elements have received visual improvements.

The goal is simple:

Less clutter. Better readability. More focus on surviving the swarm.

NEW COSTUME SCREEN

A dedicated Costume screen has been added.

You can now browse your available outfits and customize King Charles before heading into battle.

Some costumes are part of the base game, while additional outfits are available through DLC packs.

These costumes give you more ways to change the King's appearance and expand your collection.

THE HUNT CONTINUES

This update is another major step toward the version of King Charles: Rise of the Alpha that we want to build together with the community.

Jump back in, collect Gold Bones, experiment with the new progression system, try out the redesigned interface, and see how far you can push your next run.
