Hey Restorers!
As we’re writing this, the game has just crossed 15,000 concurrent players on Steam in less than 24 hours since the launch. It’s unbelievable! These numbers would not be possible without all the support you've given us since we first revealed ReStory.
Whilst you've been hitting records for us, we’ve already been working on the first update to address your feedback and bugs you've encountered (this should be live very soon).
You've also helped us reach almost 100,000 units sold AND 97% positive reviews! We're completely blown away, but it doesn't stop there; the reviews that some of the press have left us are amazing, as well as a Metacritic score of 84, which is wild.
💬The reviews are in ✨
The reception has been amazing, and here are some of the excerpts and the scores from the critic reviews covering ReStory:
“It’s almost hard to believe that scrubbing down metal frames and twisting screws could be such a pleasant activity, but I can’t stop doing it to unwind.” 5/5 - Monstervine
“Combines 2000s nostalgia, restoration mechanics and a turbulent storyline for hours of fiddly fun.” 8/10 - The Wand Report
"I cannot recommend ReStory enough, its blend of great vibes, chill music and wacky customers is just what the doctor ordered for a quiet night in. I haven’t even begun to think about my GOTY list. But I can tell you right now, without a shadow of a doubt that ReStory: Chill Electronics Repair will make my list." 9/10 - ZTGD
"Gorgeously presented and utterly moreish [...] There's a careful balance between realism and entertainment here, and developer Mandragora has absolutely nailed it" 9/10 - GameSpew
"If you’re a cozy gaming lover who enjoys soothing gameplay, retro aesthetics, and intricate cleaning mechanics, ReStory: Chill Electronics Repair will be right up your alley." Kyusai
