## THE MAJOR, MASSIVE 2.0 UPDATE IS HERE!!!
Been a long while, but it's ready! Please read the below info for a list of changes!
NON-EXHAUSTIVE LIST OF UPDATES (SO FREAKING MANY, Y'ALL.)
SCRIPT:
- Restored over 30k words of cut content. Those were scenes cut to keep the demo smaller, but are now back.
Restored content includes outings that were glossed over (such as the diner), more discussions about the end of the world, more slice of life moments with Syun and Noel, an introduction to Syun's cat colony, a new nightmare scene, Syun's motorcyle, more calls and texts with Lake, meeting Lion's dad, more interactions with Teo (and his partner Mike), and even a... **STUDENT PARTY!!!**
And much, much, much, much more. **The demo is now back to being 10 freakin' hours long. Enjoy. **
This means that there will be no more 'condensed content' warnings. This is how the full game will be like.
- More content has been added post-Syun-breakdown. You'll get to see what happens after he opens up to the chosen route's character. More bonding, more flirting, more cats, more mysteries, more foreshadowing, more silly choices....
...And more horrors.
The horrors. The horrors are real.
With the addition of this content, the game is 100k words long, totalling ~30% of the full game's total word count. **Yup, I'm giving away 30% of the game for free.**
- Also, more Kent. This one goes out to the one person who asked for more Kent content in the feedback form, and the two who voted him their favorite side character (who are you people)
- More post-breakdown content also means more social media posts and eccentric users to meet in Syun's phone!
- More Duality Mode choices!
## ART
- Added 4 new CGs to brand new scenes that occur after the point the original demo stopped (before the cliffhanger, after the first breakdown.)
- Added Kie's sprite.
- The 3 original route CGs have been reviewed and improved with better, cleaner rendering.
- Lake now has a sprite when he's on call with Syun!
## VOICE
- Kie's VA has been recast. Please welcome Kumo as his new voice!
- Each character has 20 new voiced barks. Kie has barks that are similiar to, but have a different cadence than Kaoru's.
- Each character has received 9 to 20 new voiced lines, in key scenes and for the new CGs.
## AUDIO
- Dozens of new free audio tracks have been added, including music, sound effects, and ambiance.
- An original track by IKUSEN, 'Soliloquy', has been added.
- An original track by Animeida has been added.
- Two original tracks by Onegaidol-P have been added: 'Torment' and 'Endless Nightmare'.
## PERFORMANCE
- The game is now under 500mb. I got no negative feedback on any quality loss from converting the images to webp in Petit edition, so now all images (except the transitions) are light webps in the default version.
All of that made this update go from 1GB to under 500mb. All hail webps!
## FIRST DEMO CHANGES
Also, for the first demo's content, you'll get to enjoy some neat changes:
- Audio volume fixes, including music that was too loud, voice lines that were too quiet, and sound effects that could make one's ears bleed.
- Typo fixes. The entire script has been revised and edited.
- Very small bug fixes, like bugs so small literally only I have noticed, ever.
- **Please note that some lines have been moved.** The places they were in originally were not the intended ones, they were for the sake of quickly introducing certain themes (For example, Rikka's thoughts on marriage) - they are still present later in this script, in their forever spots now!

# **FAQ (PLS READ I'M BEGGING YOU)**
**Will my saves from the 1.x version still work?**
Probably not. A lot of stuff was moved around. And I'd recommend starting over anyway as a **ton of new scenes were added, expanded, or are completely different now** - you know those 'this content was condensed...' notifs? Yeah, they're gone, and you can enjoy everything as it will be in the full version.
You'll be missing out on a lot of stuff if you just skip around to where you left off. Trust me. You're going to want to see what I added, or you're not gonna understand the new content from after the original demo left off.
**Okay, but can I use this version's save files for the full version?**
Hopefully!! I've built this version specifically so no significant changes will be made between what's in here and what will be in the full version. The idea is that the full release will be basically an 'add-on' to this one, so you won't miss out on anything if you use your demo save files and you can just pop 'em in there with no troubleshooting needed!
**Did you seriously just up this free demo's playtime from 3 hours to 10 hours?**
Yes.
**Why in the world would you do that??**
i'm neurodivergent and extremely passionate about this one specific project. i'm not kidding when i say this is my life's work, scoob.

Thank you for the support and enjoy this massive update!!!
