You’ll find 28 fish species swimming these waters, including 14 completely new additions to the game: Swordfish, Black Marlin, Sailfish, Great Barracuda, Blacktip Reef Shark, Two-Spot Red Snapper, Wahoo and many more. Fish at this location generally grow bigger and stronger, bringing a whole new layer of challenge to the fish fighting experience into the game.
Players can unlock this destination at level 94, or dive right into the adventure with one of the DLC packs, each including 30- or 60-day access, plus an Advanced License and Premium account for the same time period. The maximum level cap in the game has been increased from 90 to 100.

With 60-days of access, Advanced License and Premium account, additional Marker and Navigation Buoys we got you covered for an unforgettable escape from the mundane.
New Bottom Spinning Gear
Another exciting addition to the game is Saltwater Bottom Spinning fishing. You get new specialized rods designed for targeting fish that dwell near the ocean floor. These rods blend the sensitivity and versatility of traditional spinning setups with the strength and durability required for deep-sea conditions. They are perfect for catching bottom-dwelling predators such as Groupers, Snappers, Amberjacks, and various reef species. These rods have a strong backbone and a sensitive tip to detect subtle bites and handle the weight of heavy fish. Paired with saltwater spinning reels offering high drag capacity and corrosion resistance, they’re built to meet the demands of bottom fishing in saltwater environments.
An ultra-powerful bottom spin setup from Tsurihito™ and an extra-long spinning set from Fletch and Bradford™ go in the Atoll Scout Pack. All kinds of baits and lures specially designed to chase exotic ocean species, and a super spacious 400+ items Tackle Wagon Vault™ to have everything you need, will make your ocean fishing smooth and easy. A tropical Angler’s outfit with polarized glasses and the AquaRay™ headlamp will fill your 30-day journey through the Maldives atolls with extra comfort.
Vertical Jigging Retrieval
Try out a new fishing technique in the game — Vertical Jigging — where lures like pilkers, spoons, jigs, and more are dropped straight down into the depths and retrieved with sharp, jerking motions to mimic injured prey. This method draws in predatory fish from all depths — from the bottom to the midwater layers — provoking strikes through sudden lure movements.
Vertical jigging is a precise and effective way to fish, offering anglers the chance to engage fish directly below the boat in deep or open waters. To help you master the technique, the game tracks your retrievals in real-time, so you’ll know exactly when you’re doing it right.
New Saltwater Items
Experiment with the new saltwater gear that is now available in the In-game Store. You’ll find massive Saltwater Poppers and Spoons, brand-new Triple-Hook Pilkers—perfect for targeting aggressive ocean predators. For trolling fans, there’s a full set of new gear, including Luminous Trolling Octopuses and the versatile Trolling Skirt Rig, which consists of a Trolling Skirt, Head and Hook.
Livebait Trolling Rig
A specialized fishing setup made for trolling live baitfish behind a moving boat. To support this method, we’ve introduced a range of new baits, including various sizes of Flying Fish, Indian Ocean Squid, and Split Tail Mullet to tempt predators like Swordfish, Tuna, Marlin, Barracuda, and more.
Missions, Competitions, Achievements, Monsters
Take on a chain of new engaging monster missions and come face-to-fin with two formidable ocean predators. This time, the Brave Angler must confront the fast and legendary Night Windrazor — a true hunter of the dark — and the terrifying Hordecuda, a one-of-a-kind monster unlike anything you've faced in the game before.
Dive into a challenge of 6 all-new thrilling competitions and get up close with vibrant marine life of the Maldives. Unlock 11 fresh achievements as you explore every stretch of these tropical waters — and only the most curious and relentless adventurers will earn the hidden achievement.
Sounds Improvements
We’ve introduced a range of sound improvements to enhance your experience. These include new drag and reeling sounds for both saltwater and freshwater reels, updated casting sounds that now vary based on distance and reel type, and refined reel opening/closing sounds. Additionally, some splashing sounds for floats, lures, and fish have been updated. New background music has also been added to the main menu.
