v0.8.0 Update Patch Notes
Changes:
- Free demo is now available, limited to the first 50 chambers of the library; progress in the demo will carry over to the full release
- Added new Entity, the Custodian, which enters the library after collecting a total of 900 books
- Shortened Defender’s hearing range for searching a bookshelf (other hearing ranges remain the same)
- Moved UI in-game to be in front of screen effects (such as fade and vignette)
- Added Steam Rich Presence status messages
- Added random ouroboros decorations on some walls (returned them, I should say)
- Added message when interacting with shop if you do not have it unlocked yet
- Reduced all shop costs
- Slightly modified calculations for the timer in challenge runs
- Modified visuals on fountains
- Fixed a bug that caused wall pieces and other level objects to spawn in places that are inaccessible
