【S18 Season Preview】The "All-New" Weapon Trial Arrives! New Challenges Beyond Floor 500!
Good afternoon, Knights!
The S18 Season - Weapon Trial is coming soon!
As always, Xiao Pa Cai is here to bring you the latest battlefield report!
In the new season, Knights will experience an entirely new tower-climbing challenge, expanding the endgame content and providing more goals to pursue!
■ Design Background
For a long time, many new players have found themselves unsure of what to do after clearing Floor 500.
Meanwhile, veteran players who have already developed multiple Builds and explored various playstyles have gradually entered a more relaxed phase of progression.
To address this, we created the brand-new Weapon Trial system.
Our goal is to provide fresh challenges while giving more equipment a chance to shine. We hope this new mode will encourage Knights to explore different builds and discover new possibilities.
■ Gameplay Overview
【Unlock Requirement】
The Weapon Trial unlocks after defeating Octopus.
Before meeting the requirement, the feature button will appear locked. Clicking it will display:
"Defeat the boss Octopus to unlock."
【Main Interface Features】
◆ Environmental Buffs
Displays the current day's environmental buffs, which rotate according to the available buff pool.
◆ Floor Progress
The Weapon Trial contains 100 floors.
Every 10 floors serves as a checkpoint, saving your latest progress.
◆ Weapon Codex
The Weapon Codex displays:
All equipment that can grant Trial Points
Completion status for each piece of equipment
Total accumulated Trial Points
Available rewards
To make it easier for Knights to find eligible equipment, we have added:
✅ Equipment category filters
✅ Equipment search function
Completed equipment will receive a completion mark.
If an equipment item has an Legacy version, the Legacy version will not appear separately in the Codex. However, completing the challenge with the Legacy version will still count toward the original equipment's completion progress.
■ Gameplay Rules
In Weapon Trial, completing challenges with equipment listed in the Weapon Codex will grant Trial Points and unlock exclusive rewards.
The further you progress, the better the rewards become!
(Yes, the rewards include many things you've been looking forward to!)
Please note:
⚠️ Armor pieces have limited usage counts, so choose your equipment combinations carefully.
Once you enter a challenge:
Equipment cannot be changed.
Equipment registered in the Weapon Codex cannot be modified.
Equipment that is not included in the Weapon Codex can still be equipped freely, but it will not grant Trial Points.
【Equipment Status】
Equipment will have the following statuses:
Equipment not included in the Codex
Codex equipment that has not been completed
Completed Codex equipment
Completed Codex equipment with 0 remaining uses
Example:
If a Knight is already in the middle of a challenge and re-enters the trial:
Magic Guard Armor, Pastor's Cloak, and Aura Boots are not part of the Weapon Codex, so they can still be equipped freely.
However, the main weapon, off-hand weapon, and Beastmaster's Power are different from the equipment used when the challenge started, so they will be disabled.
(Remember: equipment cannot be changed after entering the battle.)
In another situation:
If all equipment matches the setup used when entering the challenge, and Twin Blades is included in the Weapon Codex, successfully clearing all 100 floors with this setup will grant 1 Trial Point.
If you want to leave the trial midway, a confirmation message will appear and your progress will be saved.
So don't worry about losing your progress or wasting your time!
■ Additional Changes
【Season Leaderboard Adjustments】
After reaching Floor 500, leaderboard rankings will also consider the number of Trial Points earned.
A maximum of 10 Trial Points will be counted.
Ranking priority:
Players with higher Floor 500 progression + more Trial Points will rank higher.
For example:
A player with Floor 500 + 10 Trial Points will rank above players with fewer Trial Points.
【Season Leaderboard Rewards Adjustments】
Starting from S19 Season, leaderboard rewards will receive a major overhaul.
Players ranked 1st-10th will receive exclusive fixed leaderboard skins.
Other reward contents will also be adjusted, providing higher-value and more generous rewards.
■ A Little Secret
For those Knights who made it this far, you may still have one question:
The first image of the preview shows another button called "Extreme Trial". Why haven't we mentioned it?
That's because it's a little surprise we prepared for everyone!
We believe many veteran Knights may feel that the 100 floors of Weapon Trial are only a warm-up.
So in the future, we will continue expanding the Weapon Trial system with higher difficulties and deeper challenges.
Stay tuned for what's coming next!
Thank you to every Knight for your continued support and companionship.
Let's welcome the brand-new challenges of S18 Season together!
