Dear Players,
This is an update from the development team behind Wrist Catcher regarding a adjustment to our previously announced update schedule.
Due to an unforeseen family emergency, we must postpone our planned early-September update. Our development studio is operated by myself and my wife. Recently, she was hospitalized due to a case of biliary pancreatitis during her pregnancy. My primary responsibility at this time is to ensure her full recovery, which has unavoidably impacted our development timeline.
Despite these circumstances, I have managed to complete the majority of the planned bug fixes and content ahead of the end of August. The key changes in this upcoming update include:
Fixed an issue causing the game to stutter after pulling down the curtain on Day 1 and Day 2.
Resolved a problem where the Outsider NPC would disappear unexpectedly between Day 10 and Day 20.
Fixed an issue causing garbled text to appear in road signs.
Due to a Steamworks requirement involving phone verification, which imposes a 72-hour waiting period after binding a number before an update can be pushed, this build will be submitted and released as soon as that window passes. We expect this to be within 72 hours after the processing period.
Furthermore, the English localization text has been fully translated. However, we are still in the process of learning and testing the proper procedure for uploading and implementing these files on Steam. We currently anticipate the English language update to be deployed in mid-to-late September. A separate announcement will be made once it is live.
We sincerely apologize for this delay and any inconvenience it may cause. We deeply appreciate your understanding and continued support.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Best regards,
Wrist Catcher Developer team
