Hi everyone!
Today's post is a big one, because not only are we releasing the Skin Update, but also announcing A WHOLE NEW GAME, Card Corner! (P.S. The free demo is out right now!)
View game pageThe Skin Update is out right now, and if you want to read what it adds to the game, read the post below! You'll see that we have another upcoming update very soon, and later in this post I'll reveal the release date!
We'll also of course be making more updates beyond these ones, and I can't wait to keep on supporting Desktop Defender!
View game pageAnyways, many of you probably want to learn more about Card Corner, our latest idle game that takes everything we learned while developing and supporting Desktop Defender, and applies it to a poker setting!
If you enjoyed Desktop Defender, Card Corner will also be right up your alley. It's an idle poker deckbuilder that lives quietly in the corner of your screen while you work, browse, or do whatever else you're doing!
There's a free demo available on Steam right now, give it a shot and let me know what you think! In fact, it's also compatible with Desktop Defender so you can snap the windows to each other, and play both games simultaneously! You'll also get a free skin in Desktop Defender if you've played the Card Corner demo!

Anyways, I'm sure you also want to read the exact patch notes for Desktop Defender's Skin Update, and you can read them below!
Added the new skin system - unlocking certain number of achievements allows you to unlock visual skins.
Added 14 new skins (and even more if you own more of our games as tie-in bonuses).
Added 5 new achievements, without Steam integration per community feedback.
Improved the game's visuals when scaling the game's window up and down from the base resolution.
Fixed a bug that caused certain infinity-ranked loot to be way rarer than intended.
I really hope that you enjoy both Desktop Defender's Skin Update, and Card Corner's free demo! What's even more exciting is that Card Corner will be releasing on the 9th of March, and Desktop Defender's Critical Update will be releasing on the same day!
Also, as always, if you're enjoying the game, I would REALLY appreciate it if you reviewed it. It's the best thing you can do to support the game if you're enjoying it!
