Hi all!
We’ve been deep in systems work this week, wiring in one of the most requested features for Hell’s Bells. The Sisters now have something new to offer, and something new to judge you for.
What's new:
The Act System is now live internally.
Each Sister carries a shared foundation of actions, but their personalities twist those choices in different ways. Cruelle pushes, Chastity tests, Mercy tempts, and each one shows their hand differently.
You’ll now be able to select the act you want to pursue in the moment. No hidden checks. No guessing. Just intent, laid bare.
And if the weight of that intent becomes too much, you can Repent.
Doing so opens a dedicated scene tailored to each Sister. Quiet, intimate, and not entirely merciful.
What changed this week:
User Interface: The new Act Menu displays cleanly in-scene with iconography for each action and reactive states based on eligibility. No hard cuts, no screen jolts, it lives directly inside the moment.
Choice Flow: Input is clean, locked, and framed. Accidental skips are gone. The REPENT route is now its own branch and no longer shares logic with the core actions.
Sister Hooks: All three Sisters now register their shared actions, with framework support for unique, character-specific acts.
Stability: Cleaned up a handful of issues with state resets, hover previews, and transition layering that caused flickers under load.
We’re shaping this carefully. Your choices should feel intentional and their reactions should feel earned.
If you haven’t yet, wishlist Hell's Bells to be ready for when the doors open.
If you have, there’s more coming soon.
