Hello everyone!
First of all, thank you for the incredible support since the launch of Heart of Gaia on June 1st. Seeing players explore the world and share their experiences has been truly motivating.
Even though the game has just launched, development is far from over.
Over the past few days, I've been working on one of the most requested features: multiplayer support.
I'm happy to share that a new Co-op & Online Multiplayer system is currently in development!
Current development status:
• Local Co-op (2 Players): Core systems implemented and currently being polished.
• Online Multiplayer (Up to 3 Players): Active development in progress, built on top of the co-op framework.
• Networking & Synchronization: Ongoing implementation and testing.
Since Heart of Gaia was originally designed as a single-player Action RPG, integrating multiplayer requires significant work behind the scenes. My goal is to make the experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible before releasing it to everyone.
If development continues as planned, I'm expecting to release this update for free within the next few weeks.
I'll continue sharing progress updates as development advances, and I want to thank everyone who has supported the game during its first days after launch.
This is just the beginning of Heart of Gaia's journey.
Thank you for playing!
