With our current graphics, the footballers are stylish but awkward. From your reviews, we understood that you would like to have more individualistic, realistic and “alive” footballers. So we decided to keep the overall design but make them much more detailed and interesting.
The first step for making the new graphics is making the totally new 3D models with much more polygons.
Just imagine: the old models consist of 800 polygons, but the new ones have more than 16000 polygons. The 20 times more!
For better understanding the difference, I’ll make an example. The one boot of the new footballer has 1,5 more polygons than the whole old footballer.
Why is this so important? Because it allows us to make the kits more realistic, add more variability to the faces etc.
It’s a great reason to wait for the autumn and the release of the new update #9, isn’t it?
