Hello everyone!
I'd like to thank you all for all for playing Homeostasis! (And thanks for helping us reach 10k wishlists!) This update brings some of your most requested features and changes into the game based on your early feedback here on the Steam Community and Discord.
(We always welcome new suggestions or other feedback, so feel free to write us thru any channels linked on our Store Page!)
SAVE SLOTS
A new "Load" button has been added into the main menu, which allows you to load into any of the last 25 saves, ordered by date. The previous version only had 1 slot, which proved to be frustrating when the save was done in a bad spot, sometimes even softlocking the player.
Your current version save file should automatically get migrated into this new system seamlessly upon launch.
Updated Map Visuals
The in-vehicle map has been improved and now features a more accurate view of the surrounding hills, valleys and lakes.
Drill Area update
The Drill sensor array area now features a unique sign pointing in the direction of its path, making it easier to find. Railings have also been added around the cliffs edge.
Other changes:
Fixed crash when entering Main Menu while the save icon is still blinking
Fixed z-fighting in Thermal Plant
Fixed Gate collision with vehicle driving over it after the gate broke.
Fixed terrain gaps between stairs and ground at Thermal Plant and Site B/C
Fixed a grammar oversight in one of the objective markers
Fixed missing texture on the backside of the lake area warning sign
