After several years of development, Wanderers' Outpost is finally available in Steam Early Access.
It's been a long road to get here. What started as a small idea eventually grew into a game about everything happening behind the heroes. Instead of leading the party into the dungeon, you're the one running the frontier settlement that keeps them alive.
Build inns, workshops, kitchens, warehouses, and expedition facilities. Welcome adventurers from all walks of life, equip them for dangerous journeys, collect taxes on the treasure they bring back, and keep your outpost growing as stronger dungeons and greater dangers appear.
The Early Access version already includes the core experience:
A fully simulated settlement with autonomous adventurers, workers, merchants, and visitors.
Procedurally generated dungeon expeditions.
Crafting, production chains, trading, lodging, and a town economy driven by adventurers.
Seasons, weather, random events, injuries, deaths, and the stories that emerge from them.
This is only the beginning.
Early Access gives me the chance to continue expanding the game with player feedback. There are many features I still want to build, including more buildings, professions, events, biomes, monsters, progression systems, quality-of-life improvements, and, of course, replacing the remaining placeholder art with original illustrations.
If you've been following development, played the demo, wishlisted the game, reported bugs, or simply told someone about it, thank you. Every bit of support helped a solo developer reach this point.
Now it's time to see what kinds of stories your outpost creates.
I hope you'll join me on the journey.
