Hey Runners!
Hope you guys are doing well.
Our new content drop has arrived and with it a couple new issues to tackle! Worry not we’re dropping a quick hotfix today following up on The Great Plains update to solve a couple of crashes and adjust item/quest spawn rules across our new biome!
PATCH NOTES
Bugs and reports that were addressed in this patch:
Updated the Intro Logo and Night of the Living Dead video playback to use Bink Video instead of Electra MP4 to prevent rare crashes on startup.
Fixed a crash related to the destruction of dynamic environmental meshes (such as falling power cables).
Removed rubber boots from spawning inside the American Suburbs biome (keeping them focused where you need them most!).
Removed 2 unreachable spawn points for the "Balloon Problem" and "Field Survey" quests that were accidentally placing objectives on top of transmission towers.
KNOWN ISSUES
These are some of the main issues that we are aware of and are currently being worked on:
Some crashes on specific setups and situations (our main focus, if you are having these issues please give safe mode a try)
Instability with some achievements triggers
Balancing ajustments on new items and weather.
Please make sure to report bugs you find either by the report button within the game, the steam discussions or the discord server! We want to make the game the best possible <3
