Hi there,
Today let’s talk about why the game world looks the way it does. As you've probably guessed by now, the game draws heavy inspiration from one of the biggest MOBAs out there. From the structure of the competitive calendar to the strategic depth of team management, the roots are pretty obvious. That said, there’s one major constraint I’ve had to work around: licensing and copyrights.
No Official Assets ? No problem
Since I don’t have the rights to use official images, logos, team names, or champion designs from the real game, I’ve had to take a different route. Every visual element you see in-game, whether it’s the logo of a fictional team, the branding of a fictional tournament, or the character art for the champions, is entirely original or AI-generated.
This includes:
• Team/Competition logos that resemble iconic styles.
• Fictional team names that echo real-world references.
• Stylized champion visuals that feel familiar but are entirely new creations.
The goal is clear: stay legally safe, while keeping the vibe recognizable.
Make It Yours
While everything in the game is fictional by design, I know that many of you might want to take things a step further. That’s why I’ve made it easy for players to customize names and visuals if they want to. Whether it’s renaming teams to match your favorite orgs or using your own champion portraits and logos, the process is fully open and super simple.
All it takes is dropping your custom images into a specific folder or editing a plain text file to change team names. No complicated tools, no advanced setup, just a few quick tweaks, and you’re good to go. I’ll be sharing a detailed tutorial soon to walk you through everything, but the idea is to keep things as user-friendly as possible.
The system is also designed to be smart and forgiving: if you provide a custom image or name, the game will use it. But if something’s missing, say, a logo for one of the teams, the game will automatically fall back to its default asset. That way, your custom content fits right in without breaking anything.
This feature is completely optional and local-only. It gives you the freedom to shape the world the way you want, while keeping the experience stable and smooth for everyone.

Thanks so much for reading the dev blog all the way through. If the game sounds like something you'd enjoy, don’t forget to add it to your Steam wishlist! It’s a huge help for visibility and really supports the development as I keep building and improving the game.
