Hey everyone, we hope you are all keeping safe and well.
We wanted to update you on the progress of the Shoot 'Em Up Kit as we shared some new features with you in August and have not yet released a new build.
The new features have been held up by a major upgrade to the low-level engine, which the Kit uses for drawing sprites, models, audio, video, etc, that we've been working on for some time. We'd hoped and expected to have this finished in August but, despite the Kit working well with the new engine, there are still a lot of tasks which need completing.
We're very aware people are waiting for some of the new features we've been sharing and so we are going to move those over to the existing engine. We can then work on finishing the new engine without holding up the new features.
We'll get these features moved across as soon as we can and look forward to sharing the new build with you all.
