Thank you all for Farever Reception!
With a peak of over 7,000 concurrent players, we are proud to have so many of you playing our game!
We've received lots of messages about how much you like the art, the dynamism of the combat and the environmental platforming. Thank you all for sharing your thoughts on our forums and via the Steam reviews!
With the launch now completed, it's time to address what we're working on right now!
Our early area is proving to be a popular destination!
What we're working on right now
It wouldn't be an "early access launch" without a few issues to focus on! We have received all your feedback, and after implementing a couple of hotfixes, we are now ready to address the bigger ones.
Many of you are playing in co-op, which makes this issue important, but even more than that. It is can also cause connection and syncing issues with your character. Solving this issue will solve many more than that and that is why it is our first priority.
Our current priorities are
- Fixing the Party System linked to the "invite through Steam" button - Farever is a game best enjoyed with friends, which is why this issue is at the top of our priority. As we resolve connection and character syncing issues, many other issues will also be addressed at the same time, so we are working hard to get to the bottom of this as soon as we can.
- Improving performance, server stability and latency issues - As expected, our servers have been under heavy stress, and restoring good performance and stability is an important task that will be addressed on all regions.
- Gamepad Controls - We haven't forgotten about gamepad players! We've received a lot of feedback about unavailable actions due to a lack of binding. This issue will be addressed as soon as possible.
We are aware that there are still issues that could cause problems during your sessions, and these will be addressed in good time. They may even be resolved alongside the above listed priorities!
In any case, you can always report those using our in-game feedback tool to be sure we're not missing it.
Thank you for playing Farever. By taking part in this early access, you are helping us to develop the best possible version of our game. ✨
If you would like to show your support, why not talk about the game to your friends, join our Discord and Reddit communities, and leave a review on Steam?
See you in-game Farseekers
