This is just a small update to the GDScript version of Pyramis. The refactor is still a work in progress, but while you wait, I figured I might as well do something nice...!
Removed the time limit from the quick config menu. Originally, it was supposed to be possible to set the game up like an arcade game, and everything was designed to eventually force you to continue. ...There's not much point to this in the GDScript version anymore, though, so I removed it. (I might bring the arcade setup idea back for the refactor, and only have the timer apply under that circumstance.)
Version number has been added back to the title screen.
Thank you for your patience and kindness so far. I'm sorry that the refactor's taken so long. I still think the currently available version is fun to play every now and then, and I hope you do too.
By the way, in the previous update post, I mentioned the idea of a library version of Pyramis written in C that I could write once so I'd never have to rewrite the core game logic ever again. ...I actually managed to pull that off, so that's a big part of the refactor done!
You can actually look at the source code for it here if you want. The repository doesn't have a license, and technically speaking, I think you're not actually allowed to do anything with this stuff. Personally, though, I don't mind if you make something privately and for fun...
Now I just need to plug this C code into Godot. Stay tuned...?
