Hello hate.netters!!!
First off - I'm really grateful for the reception this project of mine has gotten so far! Seeing your screenshots and comments and thoughts has really motivated me and brought a huge smile on my face :)
So, I've been working away at the update for the past few days, and it's been coming together quite well, I think. The current scope of the content update is as follows:
Endless mode! (for anybody looking for a longer experience that slowly ramps up in difficulty)
Tutorial level (for a more clear outline of the player's movement and combat mechanics!)
Slight tweaks to combat (details in the patch notes when the update comes out, of course)
Bug / exploit (I've been able to fix some of the more crucial bugs that break the game/player experience)
Of course, this isn't the last you'll see new stuff pop up here and there for hate (dot) net (I do not own the domain for hate. net, but if somebody wants to give me $10000 a month I'll gladly take it)
The photos above:
Endless mode working as intended (no, I used debug cheats for the score :}, I am not that good)
A sneak peek at the endless mode level (in progress)
A corner of the tutorial level
While the update is not done yet, I wanted to let all of you know that I've been making progress on the things I have promised. I hope you all are excited to play this as I am excited to read your thoughts on it!
Cheers,
bonitāka
