Dear Legends,
We want to make sure every player has a clear path to expressing their unique style on the battlefield. Customization in Legend Battles is achieved through a three-tiered system: Free Rewards, Battle Coins, and Legend Coins, ensuring everyone can personalize their warrior.
Tier 1: Start with Free Cosmetics
We believe in rewarding every player from the start. That's why a collection of essential Free Cosmetics is automatically placed in your Inventory the moment you first launch the game app. These items allow you to immediately customize your basic appearance and give you a head start in defining your legend's look.
Tier 2: Earn Your Gear with Battle Coins
Prove your prowess and earn your style! Battle Coins are the currency of honor, earned directly through your skill and performance during combat. You can spend these hard-won Battle Coins to purchase a wide variety of Warrior Cosmetics in the Battle Store, including skins, camos, and gear that showcase your dedication and achievements on the battlefield.
Tier 3: Premium Access with Legend Coins
For players seeking the ultimate in style and exclusive content, Legend Coins are your key. These premium coins allow you to purchase a vast array of cosmetics available across the Battle Store, special Bundles, and complete Battle Sets. Most importantly, Legend Coins are required to purchase the Battle Pass Edition Premium, Elite, or Quantum, unlocking high-tier rewards, exclusive missions, and accelerated progression throughout the season.
No matter how you choose to play, the Legend Battles customization system offers abundant ways to personalize your warrior and stand out from the crowd!
Legend Battles is a free-to-play game
Legend Battles is a free-to-play game, and its entire premium economy revolves around one thing: Legend Coins, the paid currency used to access cosmetic items, premium bundles, and the seasonal Battle Pass.
Here’s a transparent, in-depth breakdown of how everything works on Steam.
1. What Legend Coins Actually Are
Legend Coins (LC) are a premium in-game currency purchased with real money.
They cannot be earned in large amounts for free, except for small quantities refunded through the Battle Pass.
What they’re used for:
Buying cosmetic Bundles, Sets and Store items.
Unlocking the Battle Pass.
Buying Quantum Edition Battle Pass (the ultra-premium Battle Pass).
Occasionally buying limited-time cosmetics or MetaHumans packs.
Legend Coins never provide gameplay advantages, only visual or cosmetic value.
2. How to Purchase Legend Coins on Steam
On Steam, Legend Coins are purchased through Steam Wallet transactions.
This gives players strong protection and clear receipts.
How buying works:
1. Go to Legend Battles → Store → Legend Coins.
2. Select a LC bundle (e.g., 500, 1100, 2400, 5000, 9500, 13,000 LC).
3. You are redirected to Steam’s purchase confirmation.
4. Steam Wallet / credit card is charged.
5. Legend Coins are immediately added to your Steam platform balance.
Note: Legend Coins purchased on Steam stay on the Steam platform only.
4. Battle Pass Deep Dive (Where Most Legend Coins Are Used)
The Battle Pass is a seasonal progression system with free and premium rewards.
Here’s how LC interacts with it:
Free Battle Pass Tier (No LC required)
Includes:
A small selection of free items.
Functional weapons (kept free for gameplay fairness).
Premium Battle Pass
Unlocks:
Premium cosmetics.
Exclusive MetaHuman and clothing skins.
Weapon skins and vehicle skins.
Emotes, weapon charms and spray tags.
Elite Battle Pass
Unlocks:
Elite cosmetics.
More exclusive MetaHuman and clothing skins.
More weapon skins and vehicle skins.
More emotes, weapon charms and spray tags.
Quantum Battle Pass (the premium-premium option)
Costs real money + extra LC
Includes:
Quantum cosmetics.
A lot of exclusive MetaHuman and clothing skins.
A lot of weapon skins and vehicle skins.
A lot of emotes, weapon charms and spray tags.
Premium, Elite and Quantum can be purchased with Legend Coins.
5. Bundles, Sets & Pricing — What You’re Actually Buying
Legend Battles sells bundles, Sets and individual items in the Store.
Bundles and Sets usually contain:
Metahuman and clothing skins.
Weapon and vehicle skins.
Gear skin like helmet, bulletproof vest and backpack.
Parachute backpack skin, parachute skin, Jet suit skin.
Weapon charms, emotes and spray tags.
Pricing ranges:
300–500 LC → small store items.
1,500 LC → typical cosmetic bundles and sets.
2,500 LC → large themed bundles and sets.
3,000+ LC → licensed crossover bundles (TV shows, movies, anime, etc.)
Bundles rotate frequently.
6. Refunds, Delays & Purchase Issues
Steam gives strong protection, but Legend Battles purchases still have rules:
Purchases sometimes take up to 24 hours to appear.
Legend Coin transactions are final once spent.
Bundles, Battle Sets and Battle Store items cannot be refunded after you redeem any part of them.
If Legend Coins aren’t delivered, Steam support must verify the transaction.
Items bought via Legend Coins remain permanently linked to your Legend Battles account.
7. Why the System Is Designed This Way (The Business Logic)
This is the real, behind-the-scenes reasoning:
Legend Battles is free, so cosmetics fund servers, updates, and anti-cheat.
Legend Coins benefit our partners' services, such as Steam, Epic Games, and AWS.
Seasonal Battle Pass cycles generate recurring revenue and ensure funding for our future developments.
Bundles, Battle Sets and Battle Store create “value stacking” to increase average purchase size.
It’s the same business model used by Fortnite, Apex, Valorant, PUBG Battlegrounds, Call of Duty and other top free-to-play shooters.
8. Summary for Steam Players
Legend Coins on Steam:
Bought with real money.
Stay on your Steam balance.
Used for Battle Store, Bundles, Battle Sets, Battle Pass.
LC itself does not transfer.
No gameplay advantages.
Powers Legend battles’ free-to-play economy.
