Hello shopkeepers!
It is an honor to be part of the 2026 Cozy Job Simulators Sale! A warm welcome to all the new players joining during the event. Your support means a great deal, especially as Loot Shop Simulator is still in very early development.
At this stage, I’d like to share a little bit about what is currently in the works and what can be expected in the next updates.
More Decorations
You may have noticed a new wall and floor set in the latest screenshots. Those decorations are part of the upcoming Diamond & Paywall item set. However, unlike previous wall decorations, I am implementing an option to toggle between different color variants of the same wall texture. The goal is to expand customization for players in the long run so that all future wall textures can offer multiple options.

On top of the new wall and floor options, I've also been working on a new tile placement system exclusively for plants. A number of plant decorations are already ready for implementation, so once the new tile placement system is finished, the plan is to include unlockable plants in all of the item sets: Dragon, Witch and the upcoming Paywall set.
Employee System
What is a shop simulator without employees? Well, it's a lot more work!
As more systems are added to Loot Shop Simulator, there will be many more ways for players to spend their day. Because of that, employees will become necessary, giving players more freedom to enjoy other activities. The employee system is already more than halfway complete, and after some more testing, it is expected to be ready for the next big update.
In summary, the next large update is planned to include both the Employee System and the Diamond & Paywall item set. Expect that update to arrive later this year.
Next Specialization: Card Parlour
For the update after the Employee update, the plan is to launch a brand new specialization: the Card Parlour! I am sure many players will already be familiar with card shop simulator games that let players open packs and collect cards. Well, this specialization will include a full Trading Card Game that can even be played against NPC customers!
While the first full set has already been designed, currently totaling 126 cards, much of the art is still underway. One advantage here is that the TCG is based on the studio’s first game, Awakening of Legend, so the only new artwork needed is the art for the cards themselves.
As for the gameplay itself, expect something inspired by the early days of Yu-Gi-Oh mixed with Hearthstone. Hazard cards, snap cast spells, and minions have all been designed in a streamlined format that aims to offer fast-paced, action-packed matches. Here is a sneak peek at a couple of the chase cards that will be available.

Full Art Variants and holo foil cards are also planned for those expensive and collectible drops!

The Card Parlour update is expected to take a few more months, so the current target is somewhere between Q4 2026 and Q2 2027 for a full release. Unlike the Guild Hall specialization, which launched in a partial form, the plan is to fully complete the Card Parlour specialization before release. So, thank you for the patience while everything is brought up to the standard it deserves.
Thank you again for the support, feedback, and patience throughout development. There is still a lot more on the way, and I look forward to sharing more as these updates continue to take shape. Happy shopkeeping! ːsteamhappyː
