Here are the completely overhauled Anomaly Protocol and Mission-2 details:
New Era: Mission-2 and the Space Station
Our objective has changed entirely. We are no longer focused solely on survival — we must now operate and protect a massive base.
Main Objective: Extract valuable items you collect underground to the surface, process them in the grinding machine, and send them to our space base via rocket.
10-Day Cycle: In Mission-2, your goal is to survive for 10 days in this ruthless cycle and protect the base. You will earn a Steam Achievement for every new day you manage to survive!
Night Nightmare and Base Defense
Pay close attention to the time you spend underground. When you hear the loud siren, know that the sun is setting and the real danger is beginning.
Siege: When night falls, the outside fills with monsters.
Defense Systems: Connect to the computer inside to protect your base and defeat attackers by controlling the base's long-range weapons.
New Meta and Character Progression
You will now be rewarded for every valuable item you send to the space base. Using your earnings strategically is the key to survival:
Skill Tree: Access the "Character" tab from the computer inside the base to unlock new skills that will empower you using the money you earn.
Difficulty Curve: To help novice teams adjust, we keep the radiation level intentionally stable during the first few days. But don't relax — after Day 3, you will face the harsh reality.
Cosmetic Store: Use your earnings to purchase new costumes and a variety of cosmetic headgear for your character.
Extensive Mechanical and Environmental Updates
The entire atmosphere of the game has been overhauled from top to bottom to match the spirit of Mission-2:
Map Revision: The game environment has been completely redesigned and the map has been renewed.
Improved Dynamics: The day-night cycle has been reworked and made significantly more impactful.
New Arsenal: New weapons have been added to the game to increase your chances of survival.
Character Improvements: Player movement mechanics and the fatigue system have been refined to offer a much smoother experience.
Environmental Details: The "Children's Room" has been completely reworked and renewed.
Language Support: The translation system has been updated for a better gameplay experience.
Developer Note: This update takes Anomaly Protocol to the next level. I wish you all the best of luck in this new mission where you will push the limits of teamwork, time management, and base defense. See you in the depths underground!
