🎊 The day has finally come! 🗓️ Servant of the lake is OUT NOW! ✨🧹
The game is also available on iOS, Android, and itchio! But before you board the carriage to spend a long weekend waiting on the eccentric whims of the Vanderboom family, we hope you’ll spare us a few moments of your time!
View game pageYou might have already drawn this conclusion by reading our #SotLDevlogs but the development of Servant of the Lake has been quite a journey for us. You might remember the secret announcement in The Mr. Rabbit Magic Show a little over a year ago during our 10 year anniversary event where we first revealed the project to our most dedicated players as a reward for finding all in-game secrets! However, the development for Servant of the Lake started long before that. The idea of going back to the Vanderboom Estate in a future game has been on our minds ever since we released Rusty Lake: Roots back in 2016 (10 years ago 😱). This thought solidified more and more once we started brainstorming about a new entry for Rusty Lake Untold, our pen and paper project.
Since then, over the course of the following 2.5 years, the project grew into something way bigger than we expected originally. Today, as we are finally ready to reveal this project with the world, we truly believe we are serving you all one of the finest productions in the history of Rusty Lake. The narrative, the art, the puzzles, the music and sound design, the amazing voicecast, as well as the incredible work by our translators and all the special collaborations that went into this project make us very proud with the end result we have achieved. We hope you’ll all share the sentiment and enjoy the full Servant of the Lake experience! If you need an extra teaser, you can enjoy a sneak peak at the gameplay by watching Soff’s playthrough of part of the first day at the Vanderboom mansion streaming now on our Servant of the Lake Steam Page!
We want to thank you for your amazing patience! The support we received from our community on this journey has been overwhelming. From the very first announcement, to when we released the demo on Steam, you showed us your support in the best way possible! Especially when we communicated that we needed a few extra months to finalise the game and port it to Unity, you all showed up for us and gave us the confidence to keep going on this journey! And now we can finally return the favour with the launch of our latest Rusty Lake premium game, Servant of the Lake!
As an additional thank you to our community we’re also very pleased to announce that we are currently running a 50% OFF discount on all our premium games on both Steam and mobile! And if you want to experience the whole Vanderboom mansion story so far, you can grab our special Vanderboom Bloodline Bundle on Steam with both Servant of the Lake and Rusty Lake: Roots for a special discount!
Are you ready, Servant?
