Prismatic Indie Showcase

We're proud to announce our participation in the Prismatic Indie Showcase on Steam, running September 7-11th!
This event aims to spotlight Indie teams without major financial backing or publishers, which is exactly true of Red Merle Games... aka me (Uncle Term) & Zera!
We've worked hard to continue to make Little Crossroads a reality within our limited budget while continuing to employ paid human artists like our amazingly talented composer Haakon Davidsen.
It's an honor to be recognized in this event!
The "Little Playtest"!

During the event (September 7-11th), we are excited to open up the doors of "The Crossroads" to the public for our first Multiplayer Alpha Playtest, which we're calling the "Little Playtest"!
Sign-up on our Store Page to be notified when the playtest is opened! You can do this by pressing the "Request Access" just underneath the trailer section.
The "Little Playtest" marks an important milestone and gives us an opportunity to get your valuable feedback to shape the game into a more finalized state, but keep in mind that we are considering this an "Alpha". What does that mean? It means there's a TON of content still to come.
Our hope is that the playtest offers a promising look into the future of the game, and that you can see our vision slowly coming to life.
Some quick info on the playtest:
Platforms: Windows/PC only, on Steam
Languages: English only
Internet connection is required, but multiplayer is NOT required. Note: we plan on making our game NOT require internet connection in the future for solo play! That feature won't be ready in time for the playtest, however.
We are so sorry if the above excludes you from the first playtest... We absolutely plan to support more platforms and language options in the future!
Coming Soon: Development Roadmap
When we launch the playtest, we will also be providing a Development Roadmap to offer a glimpse at the development of Little Crossroad's Past, Present, and Future. While we are excited to share our plans leading up to Early Access and beyond, keep in mind plans may change and the path to Full Release could be a winding one.
You may also have noticed our listed release date on Steam was adjusted from 2026 to 2027. For those following development, this may not come as a surprise. We have big plans for the future of the game, and there's only 4 months left in the year! A 2026 release isn't feasible, so we are now targeting next year. Onwards!!
Thrilling times ahead! We can't wait to play with you during the playtest.
See you in The Crossroads.
💖 Uncle Term & Zera
