This update focuses heavily on the in-run economy and overall progression flow. Obol gains have been increased across several sources, while Merchant and Fountain prices have been reduced to make spending during a run feel more rewarding.
We’ve also added new ways to keep track of synergies, improved several screens, and fixed a number of issues related to slots, Curses and the Reliquary.
BALANCE & QOL
• Greatly increased Obols gained when progressing into a new floor
• Slightly increased Obols gained when clearing a floor
• Increased Obol rewards from Challenges
• Reduced the cost of most Merchant offers and adjusted some of them
• Greatly reduced the cost of all Fountain options
• Negative outcomes from Karma Relics no longer change with Relic level
• Removed several unfair Challenges
• Removed some slot restrictions
• “Singular” has been renamed and now grants +5 Execution
• Reduced camera movement speed when dragging
• Synergies can now be marked to make them easier to find
• Improved visuals across several in-game screens
BUG FIXES
• It is no longer possible to remove the Weapon slot restriction after reordering it, fixing a softlock where the Reliquary could become empty and the fight’s “Ready” button disappear
• Fixed Bestiary tooltip in the Lords section
• Fixed incorrect Bestiary kill counts
• Fixed Relic cost remaining visible after purchasing it while the double-cost Curse was active
• Slot modifiers granting or applying statuses now trigger after the Relic is used instead of before
• Fixed some slot effects not appearing in Relic use previews with Karma Relics
• Fixed Reliquary reroll costs being displayed incorrectly when either of the first two Curses was active
• Fixed several situations where movement could still be canceled when it should not be
