Big change:
The levels in the new engine were mirrored compared to the original, this has now been corrected. The downside is your current saves aren't fully supported by the fix, to fix this it drops you back at the start of the level you were on. Your score, weapons and keys are all stored on the player, so those carry over the same. All the enemies and prisoners get reset.
Small change:
Increased the rocket splash radius and ammo consumption.
weapon | dmg | ammo cost |
|---|---|---|
Pulser | 10 | 1 |
HSPulser | 10 | 1 |
FireBall | 15 | 1 |
Grenade | 50 | 6 |
Plasma | 100 | 12 |
Miner | 100 | 12 |
Rocket | 300 | 30 |
Added:
M to toggle map on/off. (Tab is still to take a quick look.)
Settings to enable or disable the green flash for item pickup.
Some additional Steam features.
Fixes:
Scaled the guns to match 4:3 original. 8:5 and 16:9 will be a little wider but closer to the original now.
Invisible enemies no longer make a sound when they spot you.
Red/Blue door should no longer make open sound without a key.
Enemy/prisoners open doors again.
