To all friends of the Family, salutamu.
Since the launch of Mafia: The Old Country, we've been touched to see many new and longtime fans express their appreciation for the latest game and the wider Mafia franchise. To celebrate the growth of this Family, we've spun up this new, semi-regular roundup that will spotlight franchise milestones, significant dates, and the impressive talents of our community.
Honoring the Family

Buon Compleanno, Isabella
Isabella Torrisi was born March 25, 1887, and for our first Mafia Family Business post, we think it's fitting to commemorate a key character at the heart of Mafia: The Old Country. Below are some of our favorite fan-created tributes to Isabella:

Mafia's Commitment to Authenticity
As this Family continues to grow, we want to make sure that newer initiates are dialed in on Hangar 13's commitment to authenticity, which defines how the Mafia games capture iconic eras of organized crime. From specific period-accurate details to insights about how the team achieved them, here are some peeks behind the curtain that we shared last year, in case you missed them the first time around:
Mafia Expert Reacts to Mafia: The Old Country
In collaboration with Fandom, we invited professor, historian, and author John Dickie to react to Mafia: The Old Country and its depiction of early-20th-century Sicily. Watch his nearly 20 minutes of in-depth analysis here.
Mafia: The Old Country's 'Breaking Omerta' Dev Diaries
In the months leading up to the game's launch, we created a series of Developer Diary videos illustrating how Hangar 13 established the high bar of authenticity demanded by a project like the Mafia: The Old Country. You can find all four videos together in this YouTube playlist, or check them out on the Mafia site, where you can find additional quotes and context from the team.
