WHAT'S UP DRUNKONAUTS 🍻
Okay, we've been cooking. Like, around-the-clock, "we forgot what sunlight looks like" cooking.
From heavy-hitting combat improvements to brand new environmental hazards, this update brings major upgrades to the chaotic party brawler experience.
So let's get into it!
🥊 「 ✦ Combat Got a Glow-Up ✦ 」

Grab & Throw - Pick up objects AND knocked out players. Throw accordingly. (you're gonna love this one).
╰-➤ Brand new bodies - Drunkonauts got real weight now, which means real momentum, which means real comedy.
╰-➤ Smooth moves - All way more natural, from the neck to the feet. Feet now also conform to slopes. Look at you, walking like a person!
╰-➤ Head tracking 👀 - Characters turn to face nearby players. Sometimes it's a little creepy.
╰-➤ Emotes - Every emote now has its own head animation AND sound.
╰-➤ Reworked swing physics - Controllable, predictable, no more self-displacement on hits.
╰-➤ Throwing nerf (kinda) - Tossing a weapon is still an instant KO, but now you actually have to aim better. So close-quarters melee combat is encouraged.
╰-➤ Smarter ragdolls - Duration scales with impact and resets on KO or fall.
🤖 「 ✦ Bots Went to the Gym ✦ 」
╰-➤ They want you GONE - Bots will now actively grab you and throw you off the map. No chill whatsoever.
╰-➤ And they're rude about it - Will emote on you post-KO.
╰-➤ Flying experts - Way better at flying and recovering, so good luck finishing them off.
🌐 「 ✦ Networking, UI & Stability ✦ 」
╰-➤ P2P Connection Overhaul - Rebuilt the connection system to kill desyncs, stabilize lobbies, and cut input lag.
╰-➤ Streamer-friendly lobbies - Codes hidden when private + new "Copy Code" button.
╰-➤ Cleaner rounds flow - Players lock in place at the start and end of each round, with audio cues.
╰-➤ Steam Remote Play is LIVE - Officially enabled and tested! Go break it and tell us what happens. 😄
🛠️ 「 ✦ Polish ✦ 」
╰-➤ Audio mix – Everything's normalized so nothing blows your ears out anymore.
╰-➤ Explosives balance – Tweaked the knockback on all explosions.
╰-➤ Void Ship Map cleanup – Less junk flying around, so you can finally see what KO'd you.
╰-➤ Weapon details – Added "out of ammo" clicks and other minor SFX polish.
🍺 「 ✦ The "Let's have a drink" Experience ✦ 」
╰-➤ Refill your brew - Top up your beer bottle in the lobby. Stay hydrated!
╰-➤ Drinking SFX - gulps, "ahhh", burps.
╰-➤ Slippery Spills - Shattered mugs and bottles leave foam puddles. Warning: wet floor!
