January 29th, 2026 Progress Update
The ordinary game development is proceeding this month! We've now completed all of P3 and the opening of P4, and we expect to finish the P4 story sequences this weekend!
After testing, we held internal discussions about narrative consistency and identified 7 plot points that require major revisions. Some of these involve content already released in the demo version, so we'll need to retcon certain elements... ORZ
Regarding proofreading: Diana is currently working on the W4-W5 English version, while Abigail has completed proofreading for G0-G2. Once I finishes organizing the G3-G5 story content, proofreading for those sections will begin next month.
In addition, I've been helping a friend develop the core system code for a detective visual game in the spare time, and it's now up and running!! When will we be able to play it? Let's wait and see...!

Q: Hello Birctreel! I'm curious about the timing of Shervlett's curse activation. For example, when Faolan went to confront Lagarde and died right then, was that controlled by Lagarde or just coincidence? Are other people's death timings random or influenced by certain factors? Also, were the choir children okay after hearing Shervlett's song? And when Valkyuranutte is summoned, does it attack indiscriminately? Wouldn't that hit the Melodian's own allies?
A: The activation timing isn't fixed. It relates to each person's physical constitution, temperament, and tolerance levels. Shervlett is a Psycho-Sphere Melodian, and this melody amplifies people's negative emotions. Therefore, those who are more emotionally expressive tend to succumb faster. The timing for Faolan, Maverick, and all other affected characters is random and coincidental.
Additionally, the choir children didn't hear Shervlett's song. To prevent conflicts or interference between contestants, only the judges watch all performances at the audition venue. When it's not their turn, everyone waits backstage.
The original melody for summoning Valkyuranutte requires a massive choir singing together to succeed. When Shervlett performed with only herself (plus a small number of choir girls providing vocal accompaniment), she only summoned Valkyuranutte's "wrath," which does indeed attack indiscriminately. Fortunately, there were no other allies present, so it could slash away freely without issue (...)
