Today, we want to give you a first look at the new mode we are currently developing: "Epilogue Mode."
Concept of "Epilogue Mode"
🌿 This Mode is A New Beginning After the Closure
Before Closure is a story about finally finding the strength to face the end of a relationship. But we felt that simply "deal with a box of an ex's belongings" shouldn't be where the journey stops. We believe every major ending is a gateway to a "new beginning."
While the main story arc is now complete, we wanted to give every player a space for a fresh start after the curtains fall—and that’s how "Epilogue Mode" came to life.
🏠 What is "Epilogue Mode"?
Think of this as a White Noise Companion Mode set in the protagonist's new home after the main story concludes. It’s designed to be a peaceful space that stays with you long after the credits roll.
How to Unlock: We currently plan to make this available once you have completed the game for the first time.
Planned Features (Currently in Development):
Dynamic Window Views: A day/night cycle that can sync with your actual local time.
Customizable Ambience: Pick and choose the background white noise that helps you focus or relax.
Immersive Meditation (Optional): We are working on a "Closed Eyes" toggle that shifts the audio profile—perfect for deep meditation or winding down.
Note: We are working hard to implement all these features, though the final version at launch may vary depending on development progress!
We hope this mode brings you comfort and peace. When you look out at the beauty of the "new home," remember that the scenery is only complete with you in it. As you gaze at the view, you become the most beautiful part of the picture.
