Hillshade Farm: First Harvest v3.0.0

Hi everyone! As promised, this is a quick reminder that the new updated version of the Demo is now live!

Most of the issues experienced with the old version are now gone, as the major files have been replaced with Early Access files, eliminating all old bugs and problems.

What's changed in the new version:

• Major gameplay mechanics reports fixed.

  • Character Cameras updated as in Early Access; reduced floaty movement, more sharpness and ease of use.

  • Truck changes also include Camera fixes, where the camera is now player controlled and not truck controlled, reducing motion sickness.

• New opening intro & one extra quest from Early Access

  • Includes the refreshed Character Creator menu, refreshed opening Cutscene

  • One extra quest at Vista Diner at early game arrival.

• Updated menus and new organisation of locked/unlocked content compared to Early Access.

  • Majority of plants, trees and buildings are locked in the Demo version, available content is mostly quest related, however there is no playtime limit or boundaries with unlocked content.

  • All menus that have been updated for Early Access are now also updated in the Demo.

• More map polish, updated locations, collectable items on farm etc.

  • All unlocked areas in the Demo are now heavily polished as well as the rest of the unlocked map area.

  • New plant collectables around the farm and the map.

  • The Demo map boundaries remain the same, offering Vista Diner location, and the Local Stores with limited content.

• A ton of QoL improvements and bug fixes such as:

  • ESC closing inventory & opening Pause fixed.

  • New tool animations and improved logic.

  • Introduction quests improvements and corrections.

  • Menu options for Spawning Truck and Character Customization Menu.

  • Truck Steering and Unflip logic improvements.

  • Building system improvements.

  • Item placement system improvements.

  • A few new crafting recipes across the crafting menus.

  • Updated NPCs across some map locations.

  • New purchasable items in Farmer Store.

    • + a ton of other small improvements across the game.

I would love to have made a more shiny announcement, but I have to get back to working on the game.

I truly hope this version of the Demo is properly playable and enjoyable, and my sincere apologies to everyone that was frustrated with the previous version.

Have a fun time on the farm!
