Hi y'all. It's time for another devlog where I (the captain) give you guys a little bit of insight into my world and what I've been working on.
Early Access
As we gear up for the Early Access release on July 14 (I'm terrified), I've put in a ton of work that I hope will make for the most enjoyable experience yet. On release day you'll be able to play the entirety of the Spring and Summer seasons. That's 40 days of content! I've put in a ton of work on these two seasons, so I really hope that you guys enjoy it. They come with new challenges, new level types - namely night flights and first class - and tons of the same chaotic fun that you've come to expect from Uh Oh Airlines. Please continue to support the development by purchasing the game at launch and providing a review as soon as you can to help the algorithm.
Updates
In the most recent update (0.0.37), I included in game voice chat, some tutorial fixes, i updated the player targeting to hopefully make it easier for you to select the item that you intended, fixed the feedback menu, and over 20 bug fixes. I'm always working hard to provide you guys with the best version of the game, so please continue to submit bugs and feedback whenever you can so I can make sure they're getting fixed!
I hope to push one more update before or shortly after EA launch to fix more bugs. Just know that I'm always working on this so if you're expecting an update, you won't have to wait too long.
Cosmetics
One thing that I've seen people ask a lot, is more cosmetics. I just want to let those people know that I hear you and I would love to add more fun cosmetics and outfits to the game. I have a ton of ideas, but I need your help to make these happen. Not only does purchasing the game at launch help me to finish the game, it also helps me to add the fun extra stuff that makes a game special. I want to add lots of customization options for you guys, so help me help you! Spread the word - the more purchases the more likely it is that I can add more stuff to the game.
Known Issues
Sometimes, on load in, inputs do not work and you must restart the level in order to use your controller
I know about this one and I'm actively working on it. I can't replicate it so fixing it has proven much more difficult than other bugs.
Sometimes, loading into a multiplayer game causes client customization to be reset to a "shadow character" with no features
I am hot on the heels of this one and hope to have it fixed by EA release.
Tutorial can sometimes get stuck or softlock not allowing you to progress
I'm always working on the stupid tutorial. It's a huge pain point for me but I'm committed to improving the onboarding experience for all new users. I play the tutorial probably 10 times per day trying to catch bugs and softlocks.
