Attention, operating Logistics Units.
The Board has completed a comprehensive audit of your sector. It was determined that your vessels were burning fuel with reckless disregard for basic physics, your market margins were wildly erratic, and several captains were using save-game reloads to illegally teleport cargo across the void.
These inefficiencies have been purged. Protocol 1.1 is now live.
Fuel calculation and fleet rebalance
Distance-based fuel burn: Fuel consumption is now calculated per distance traveled rather than per second of flight time. Slower bulk haulers will no longer bankrupt your balance sheet simply because they take their time. Speed is still represented as per eonm to conform with previous UI for easier calculations.
Holding orbit fuel reduction: Vessels waiting in a planetary docking queue now consume only 1/10th of their normal operational fuel burn.
Fleet performance pass: Adjusted base purchase costs, top speeds, and fuel burn ratings across all ships. High speed sprinters now burn heavy fuel for fast runs, while heavy freighters offer unmatched fuel efficiency per ton of cargo.
Market pricing and tier scaling
Expanded price hierarchy: Adjusted base values across all commodities. High tier restricted goods now yield up to 30 times the revenue of raw starter goods, properly rewarding advanced industrial development.
Production margin guarantee: Value-added processing recipes have been adjusted to ensure positive profit margins across every refining step.
Dampened market volatility: Price fluctuations have been bounded to tighter thresholds, preventing profitable trade lanes from collapsing into spontaneous deficits.
System corrections and interface updates
Docking queue logic: Resolved an issue where ships assigned with the "Leave when full" directive would occasionally lock up and orbit indefinitely after loading was completed.
Quantum position glitch: Fixed a desynchronization bug where vessels would occasionally teleport straight to their destination planet or source planet upon loading a saved game.
Ledger and filter indexing: Resources in the Economy Ledger and Planet Filter windows are now sorted by license classification tier, followed by alphabetical order.
The mathematical parameters of your debt remain unchanged. The Board expects an immediate improvement in your daily revenue yield.
