Attention, operating Logistics Units.
Star Haul has authorized the deployment of constructible logistics infrastructure. You are now permitted to build Storage Depots freely within your coordinated transport sectors, provided you've proven yourself with high enough credit score.
These installations are designed to alleviate route bottlenecks and preserve cargo value over long voyages. They feature two distinct upgrade paths:
Structural Partitioning (Cargo Variety): Base depots support only one cargo type. Upgrading through to the Modular Manifest Matrix permits the complete separation of up to four different raw or processed cargo, preventing cross-contamination in transit.
Value Stabilization (Freshness Refresh): To combat the decay of the delivery speed bonus over long transits, depots can now be outfitted with preservation technology. Upgrades ranging from basic Cryo-Stabilization to the advanced Quantum Rejuvenation Array allow you to restore up to 100% of the cargo's original freshness bonus value upon departure.
While this infrastructure requires initial capital investment and operational planning, proper utilization should stabilize transport margins across complex networks.
