Hello Martyrs, It's been a few weeks since my last confession and our last playtest, so all I can say is, we kept cooking.
Welcome to the new playtesters! Join us on Discord here: https://discord.gg/U2Q7VkPbGm
Here's a few of the main things that have changed:
Many updates to the overall level flow.
Environment has started to go in. More to see and explore.
New story-line elements and cutscenes for our mysterious Sister and Agnostic scavenger (trader).
Crowbar and Rivet Gun now appear earlier, so you can sin sooner.
New ability to requiesce the Afflicted, so you don't have to kill them.
Crucifix now pushes Afflicted back.
Workbench isn't required for some crafting now.
Fixed a bunch of bugs and started cleaning up things. Still a lot to do there.
Resources are a bit more balanced, so you can't become a Saint without working for it.
Known issue:
Some enemies don't patrol until you run or make noise near them. Sleeping on the job fml.
Check out the new look we're going for - obviously inspired by Darkwood:
