Dear Sisters,
It's been too long since my last confession, but here I am, so forgive me.

We've added a few new things in this demo build, and removed a few things which we'll keep for the full game.

FOR PREVIOUS PLAYTESTERS: You must delete your save folder otherwise it'll probably crash. Do this: find the folder 'Local Disk->Users->YOU->AppData (may be hidden)->LocalLow->MacnCheeseGames->VoidMartyrs (delete this whole folder)
Eventually we'll solve this with some handy version control but for now you must suffer this penance.

Here's a rough overview of what we've done:

• Level has a few changes to the overall layout - some areas have been removed to shorten it to a demo level.
• There are a couple of new encounters to spice things up.
• 2 new NPCS - our Agnostic Scavenger makes an appearance and is open for business, and a mysterious other...
• Some new animations and in-game cutscenes added to start to allude to the story.
• Workbench removed for now so there's less backtracking needed to craft, everything you can craft in the demo can now be done as you go from your backpack. Just for the demo.
• Dodge ability is now provided by the relic you extract from one of the fallen sisters.
• A bunch of smaller improvements to indicators, interactions etc.

Things we want to do for the next demo build before releasing it to the wild:

• Improvements to the environment and storytelling.
• Balance the resources and items.
• Add an ending to the demo level.
• Add some missing sounds like UI etc.
• Polish and bugfix as much as we can.

Blessed be,
Roof
